Curriculum and Instruction in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization: Pedagogical Transformation, Human-Centered Design, and Ethical Responsibility

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fazilet Karakuş, a faculty member at our Faculty of Education, participated as a panelist in the 14th International Congress on Curriculum and Instruction, held at Sivas Cumhuriyet University on October 8–10 under the theme “Curriculum and Instruction in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization: Pedagogical Transformation, Human-Centered Design, and Ethical Responsibility.”

She contributed to the session entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization Across School Levels and Curricula: Impacts and Responsibilities” with her presentation titled “Pedagogical Transformation in Higher Education Curricula in the Digital Age: An Experience from a TÜBİTAK Project.”

Organized to share the outcomes of the project entitled “At the Cradle of Civilizations: Technology-Enhanced Multicultural Education Practices,” this event attracted considerable attention as a comprehensive study conducted in the field of higher education in Türkiye. Three papers related to the research conducted within the same project were successfully presented at the congress. In addition, two master's students from our Faculty of Education participated in the congress by presenting their papers.
